Please report any loose animals to the City Office at (713) 973-1779 during regular office hours (Monday-Friday 9AM – 5PM).

Leash Law

It shall be unlawful for any dog, cat, or other animal possessed, kept or harbored to run at large.

No owner shall possess, harbor or keep:

1. More than a total of four (4) animals over the age of six (6) months, and/or,
2. The offspring of such animals [as are permitted in (b) (1)] under the age of six (6) months; provided the combined total of such animals and their offspring does not exceed twelve (12),
3. Animals for breeding for the generation of profit.  Livestock are excepted from the provisions of this article and shall be subject to the limitations of Article 2.1000 of this article.

No owner shall possess any wild animal within the city limits of the City of Hilshire Village, Texas.

The City keeps a record of all animals registered and in a lost/found situation can contribute to location of owner.
